Overwhelmed by the crowds at the restaurants in town? Looking for a more intimate setting for a meal with family or friends? Celebrating a special occasion? Why not enjoy the best Santa Fe has to offer in the comfort of your own home! Chef Mica will shop, prep, cook, and clean while you relax and enjoy time with your guests. She will customize a four course menu that includes appetizers, salad, main course and sides, and dessert. See below for a PDF of sample menus.

Pricing

  • The base cost for a dinner party up to six people is $750 + ingredients.

  • For more than six people, the cost is $1250 (an additional server, who is licensed to bartend and serve liquor, is required) + ingredients.

  • Please inquire for pricing for parties larger than 12.

In Home Culinary Experiences

Looking for a fun way to spend the evening? Curious about southwestern cuisine? Chef Mica can teach you how to make New Mexico staples such as moles, tamales, green and red chile, chile rellenos, pozole, and more. Depending on the size and layout of your kitchen, Chef Mica can set up prep stations for you and your guests. This hands on activity will hone your skills and techniques as well as provide a delicous end result for you and your friends/family to enjoy. See below for a PDF of sample class ideas.

Pricing

  • In-home cooking classes start at $100 per person with a four person minimum.

  • Classes are 2-3 hours in length.

  • We limit participation to no more than eight people in order for you to have the best experience.

Picnics, Picnics, Picnics

Fancy picnics are all the rage! Chef Mica can make you a gourmet “to go” picnic or set up a picnic in a special setting for you and your friends and family.

To-Go Picnic

To-go picnics are perfect for the opera, a hike, or to take on a daytrip to Bandelier or Valles Caldera.

Hikes and Daytrips

If you’re planning a hike or a daytrip, Chef Mica will pack an insulated backpack or picnic basket for you and drop it off at your hotel or vacation rental in the morning and pick it up in the evening. Prices start at $100 for a picnic for two and include:

  • Your choice of roast beef, turkey, or ham with all the fixings on a baguette or whole wheat bread

  • Fresh pico de gallo and guacamole with chips

  • Your choice of blue cheese potato salad with bacon, pasta salad, or spinach pea pesto salad

  • Fresh fruit with red chile honey cream cheese dip

  • Peanut butter cookies

Santa Fe Opera

Chef Mica offers a packaged, gourmet picnic for the Santa Fe Opera. Each picnic comes with recylable plates, napkins, and utensils. Prices start at $250 for a picnic for four and include:

  • Farmers Cheese drizzled with local honey and topped with fresh figs and a pistachio crumble

  • Spinach pesto pea salad

  • Salmon tartare with pita wedges

  • Thinly sliced filet of beef with chipotle barbecue sauce

  • Patatas bravas with green chile aioli

  • Sea salt brown butter Rice Krispie treats

Picnic in the Park

Chef Mica can set up a picnic for you in any public park. If the location you prefer doesn’t have a picnic table available, Chef Mica has a portable table and six chairs. Prices start at $500 for a picnic for four. Chef Mica will customize the menu to your liking. Price include flowers, tablecloth, plates, napkins, cutlery and glassware.

A Day in the Mountains

Are you looking for something unique and fun to do with a group? Do you love the outdoors and great food? Do you need an activity for a group of all ages? Come enjoy a day in the mountains outside of Santa Fe! Chef Mica will create an upscale camp in the Sangre De Cristo mountains at a beautiful, shady location off Hyde Park Road. Most locations are adjacent to a creek and hiking trails and include a picnic table and fire pit. Chef Mica will handle everything, including clean up.

Prices start at $1000 for up to 10 people and include:

  • Table setting for ten

  • Hammock

  • Camp chairs

  • Corn hole

  • Bluetooth speaker

  • Yeti cooler with ice

  • Firewood

  • Hiking map

  • Basic picnic lunch for ten
